Mistletoe (Arceuthobium pusillum).
This species of Mistletoe (not the one employed as decoration in the Christmas season) is a small parasitic plant which lives only on the living branches of Black Spruce (rarely White Spruce). The plants are gnerally less than 1 cm tall and lack chlorophyll
