Ceanothus americanus (New Jersey tea) and Amorpha canescens (lead plant) are now in flower in UWGB's planted prairie. Also the Silphium laciniatum (compass plant) are becoming more conspicuously in flower.
Other conspicuous plants on the UWGB prairie include Rudbeckia hirta (black-eyed susan), Tradescantia ohioensis (spiderwort) and Vicia cracca (cow vetch, an invasive alien). |
