Muskrats are back at Pt. au Sable! At least 14 muskrat lodges were found during Phragmites stem removal in the lagoon near the tip at Pt. Sable. This along with other positive signs including large concentrations of waterfowl in the lagoon in the fall, and otter tracks this winter, suggest that things are definitely promising for ongoing wetland restoration at Pt. au Sable Nature Preserve. |

A little snow (0.7 inches) fell in the evening between about 7:00 and 10:00 p.m. Cooler air is predicted for the foreseeable future. |
