The Write Stuff

Good writers aren't born; they work at it! Our Writing Foundations program helps you develop basic, essential writing skills while fostering curiosity, disciplined thinking and creativity.

For Any Major

Writing is for anyone, no matter their major. Every profession needs the skills you'll build in writing courses.

Most Important for Employment

In order to be successful, you'll need the ability to clearly communicate, both verbally and in writing. In fact, 82% of employers say communication is an incredibly important skill.

Constantly Adapting

Just like any other discipline, writing is constantly changing. You won't just learn how to write well; you'll learn how to think well. Skills include understanding and applying logic, ethically employing AI tools and properly citing sources.

Learned and Earned

What a difference a year can make!

Writing Foundations courses provide a solid foundation for effective writing in school, work and life. While the specifics may vary based on your studies and personal goals, three common objectives remain: writing that is clear, correct and rhetorically effective—ensuring it accomplishes its mission, whatever that may be.
