“I am the first college graduate in my family and the first to earn a graduate degree. My dream was to be a Nurse Administrator and a Nurse Practitioner serving vulnerable populations. UW-Green Bay enabled me to realize the goal of becoming a Nurse Leader. Now I am finishing my second MSN - my nurse practitioner program!”
“The aspect of the MSN program that advanced my career was during the Practicum Classes. I was able to get into the leadership meetings and decision making process that helped ease my transition into the position I eventually accepted. My Masters Project was a huge undertaking that continues to have a direct patient and financial impact.”
“The MSN program provided me with opportunities to network with leaders. My practicum is with an associate dean of a technical college. I have participated in meetings, collaborations, development plans for faculty, budget planning and an online onboarding module for clinical nursing instructors. It is beneficial to understand how budgets play a role in every day decisions.”
