UW-Green Bay admissions counselors are prepared to present to your group about a variety of Academic & Career Planning (ACP) topics. Here's a snapshot of the presentations we are happy to provide.

College 101

Grade level: 9, 10

Students will begin to think about college and what it might look like for them during this introduction session. We will cover the basics of all things college. Students will leave this session thinking about their futures after high school.

You've Got Options

Grade level: 10, 11, 12 

During this presentation, we will discuss the various post-secondary educational options in Wisconsin, including the Universities of Wisconsin, private colleges and the Wisconsin Technical College System.

Funding Your Education

Grade level: 11, 12 

This presentation helps students to explore the various options for funding their education. By the end, students will have a better understanding of the financial aid process and the array of funding options available.

Writing a college admissions essay can be intimidating for many students. This presentation will share strategies on how to elevate students’ writing so they can tell their compelling story through an essay.

It’s no secret that many high school students feel overwhelmed by the college application process. This presentation will cover specifics of the UW application with the goal of helping students feel prepared to apply to college.

This session will cover the college timeline for high school juniors, examining what it takes to be a competitive college applicant and how to prepare for campus tours.
