Help us monitor restoration efforts through the Oneida Bird Monitoring Program.
A partnership between Oneida Nation, NEW Bird Alliance, Audubon Great Lakes and our very own Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, the Oneida Bird Monitoring program exists to determine the effectiveness of restoration practices. Volunteers throughout our region help conduct migratory shorebird and waterfowl surveys in spring and fall and breeding surveys in forest, marsh, and grassland habitats during the summer. You'll work in groups of five, supervised by bird experts.
No Experience Needed
Knowledge of birds or Oneida culture is not required—all you need is a passion for community science!
