Dr. Ahsan is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at UW-Green Bay. He finished his Ph.D. in Computational Sciences at Marquette University. He had his M.S. from Marquette University as well. He has a B.Sc. (Engineering) in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
His research focuses on developing affordable and non-invasive mobile healthcare tools for different interventions and motivation of patients especially from a marginalized population. He also worked on designing mathematical models and algorithms for detecting physiological parameters that included analyzing healthcare data. During his graduate studies, he mentored graduate and undergraduate students in different software development projects. He worked in collaboration with different physicians, clinical psychologists and people from other disciplines. He has co-authored several journal and conference publications and a book chapter on related topics.
