Entrance
Not just replacing, but reinventing.
The Cofrin Technology & Education Center (CTEC) is a five-story building opening in spring 2027. It replaces the Cofrin Library and brings the library and archives, the Learning Center, First Nations education spaces, technology studios and University offices together in one place. Built on the lawn and circle of Main Entrance Drive, between the Weidner Center and Rose Hall, CTEC becomes the new front door to campus.

Storied History
Since UW-Green Bay opened its doors in 1965, the library played a central role in our institution.
Coming 2027
Construction began spring 2025, opening spring 2027, with old library demolition to follow.

State funding for this project was approved in 2021 Wisconsin Act 58 at $96,297,000.
