Nichole LaGrow

Instructional Designer
CL 405
CATL

Nichole’s background in higher education spans two decades and a variety of roles that all share a commitment to student learning. She enjoys working with faculty to create engaging student learning experiences that consider the intersection of pedagogy/andragogy, content, and technology.

In addition to her experiences as a facilitator of learning, Nichole is a lifelong learner. Her pursuit of additional degrees and certificates helps her stay in tune with the student learner experience – a knowledge that she uses when designing the courses she teaches and supporting faculty in thinking through their courses.

She is most interested in design thinking as the focus on the student experience allows faculty to find the instructional design model that best resonates with their course design process. In her research, she focuses on the application of social justice, EDI, and UDL lenses to professional development and course design projects.
