Engineering Facilities
Where Ideas
Take Shape
Explore the spaces where you’ll design, build and test your ideas.
From 3D printers to programmable logic controllers, your hands-on experience starts here. Regardless of the academic program, you'll have access to industry-grade tools and collaborative spaces that support your learning and creativity.

Labs & Facilities
Take a look around the labs, classrooms, and collaborative spaces where you’ll bring your engineering education to life. Explore the tools, technology and energy of a building designed to power innovation.

Prototype Lab
Located in the STEM Innovation Center, the prototype lab gives you access to CNC machines, 3D printers, and fabrication tools to bring your ideas to life. These resources are continuously expanding to meet your needs.

Electrical Labs
Located in the Information Sciences building, Electrical Engineering (EE) Labs include dedicated spaces for circuits, machines and senior design. These labs give you the tools to turn theory into practice.

STEM Study Lounge
Located on the ground level (2nd floor) of the Environmental Sciences building, the STEM Study Lounge (SSL) is a resource center for students taking science and engineering classes.

Bright & Bold Backdrop
Your launchpad for hands-on learning
Opened in 2019, this 63,730-square-foot facility is home to the Resch School of Engineering. Inside, you’ll find mechanical engineering labs, a machine shop, 3D printers, and collaborative spaces designed to support your learning and creativity.

Hands-on Opportunity
"My favorite Electrical Engineering labs was first our Electronic Circuits labs. This was the very first time for me to be able to kind of have a hands-on opportunity and first building those original circuits and this is actually our basics in everything we build off of further in the program. So learning that original equipment like your digital multimeters for the first time and learning how to use a breadboard and putting in those resistors, so it was just a really cool lab just to start off with and get people excited about the program.
