Eva Cruz Martinez is the Director of Community Engagement and Student Advocate at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she strengthens partnerships across the region and elevates student success and belonging. A proud first-generation UW-Green Bay alumna, Eva brings more than a decade of experience in community engagement, youth development, and advocacy for underrepresented populations. Prior to her current role, she served as the Executive Assistant & Event Specialist in the Chancellor’s Office and as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Casa ALBA Melanie, where she collaborated with local agencies to support Latino families and launched programs such as Salud Para Todos, a free wellness initiative for Spanish-speaking individuals. Her earlier career includes extensive work with youth in trauma-informed settings, education, and foster care support. Eva is passionate about building inclusive pathways, amplifying student voice, and fostering collaborations that strengthen the university’s connection to the community. She currently serves as the Advisor for the Women of Color student organization.
