If you are the first generation in your family to attend college, you can apply to participate in the New Scholars Rising Early Access Program. It's a two-day program for incoming first-generation students like you to help you transition into your UW-Green Bay college experience.

The Early Access Program is limited to 15 participants. If you are selected through a lottery system, you will be notified by email.

Program Benefits

As a participant in the two-day Early Access Program, you'll have an early opportunity to become familiar with the campus and our resources, meet with people to help you with the transition and participate in activities with other incoming students.

College Move-In Day

Get Familiar

You'll arrive on campus before the semester starts, and get to:

  • Move into campus housing 3-days early (if living on campus)
  • Receive an in-depth campus tour to locate resources and classrooms

Make Connections 

During those first days at UW-Green Bay, you'll: 

  • Meet with staff members from the Multicultural Resource Center
  • Be paired with a peer mentor
