Committee Charge

According to Article IV, Section F of the Academic Staff Committee Bylaws, the duties of the Academic Staff Professional Development Programming Committee are:

  1. To survey the academic staff annually and consult with senior administrators to determine professional development needs and priorities.
  2. To develop and present to the Academic Staff Committee by mid-October of each year a Professional Development Program Plan that provides a description and schedule of planned activities.
  3. To plan, publicize and conduct professional development training programs in accordance with the "Guidelines for Use of Professional Development Funds."
  4. To provide a quarterly update of professional development program planning and expenditures to the Academic Staff Committee.
