Research isn't always a level playing field. You're usually not paid for it, and sometimes you have to pay when traveling to present your research. However, limited funds are available for travel to professional meetings, events or conferences to present original research or creative activity.

Who's Eligible for Travel Funding?

Funds are only for UW-Green Bay undergraduate students.


How Much Funding is Available?

The maximum award is $700 and can't be more than two-thirds of the authorized travel expenses.

What Do I Need to Provide?

You need to provide documentation of your acceptance to present research (poster, presentation, performance) at a professional conference, meeting or event.

When Do I Apply for Funding?

The application must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the date of travel. Apply as early as possible; it may take several weeks to process the application.

What Dates of Travel are Eligible?

Travel must occur this academic year (July 2025-June 2026).

Can I Be Reimbursed for Travel?

No funds will be awarded if the application is received after the travel has occurred.
