Your Gateway to History

Preserve the Past

We collect, evaluate, and safeguard historical materials about Northeastern Wisconsin and UW-Green Bay, ensuring they remain accessible for future generations.

Research & Learning

As a resource and hands-on laboratory, we promote creative teaching and learning with primary sources. Our collections foster critical thinking and deepen understanding of history.

Engage the Community

We collaborate with local communities and organizations to foster lifelong learning, with unique opportunities to share and discover history.

A Regional Hub for History

As a regional repository of the Wisconsin Historical Society, we serve as the archives for 11 counties: Brown, Calumet, Door, Florence, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie and Shawano. Through this partnership, we can access statewide and national archival collections. We house original documents, photographs, maps and other materials dating from the 1600s to today.
