TRiO SSS is a federally-funded program designed to empower you. As a participant, you gain access to an exclusive and dedicated team—a project director and two student success coaches—all focused on your journey. You'll gain:

Your personal guide for academic planning and navigating college life.

Holistic, strength-based coaching designed to help you discover educational opportunities and build essential skills.

Seamless referrals to the Learning Center, Financial Aid, Academic Advising, and Student Accessibility Services.

Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the program, you must already be accepted or currently enrolled as a degree-seeking student at UW-Green Bay and meet TRiO federal eligibility guidelines:
- First-Generation College Student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree) and/or
- Low Income Eligible (based on federal income guidelines)* and/or
- Student with a Disability: You have a documented disability and are registered with Student Accessibility Services (SAS).
- U.S. citizen or meet residency requirements for federal student financial assistance
*Your family's taxable income must meet federal TRiO program eligibility guidelines. (We will help you determine this.)

Higher Persistence
SSS participants are 12% more likely to successfully persist to their second year of college than similar nonparticipants according to a 2009 report (pdf).
Graduation Rate
Participants are 8-10% more likely to have earned your bachelor's degree or remained enrolled after six years, ensuring your ultimate rise to completion according to a 2010 report.
