Before You Visit
Visitors and researchers of all ages are welcome to use our resources. You don’t need to be affiliated with UW-Green Bay to explore our collections. No letters of reference or special permissions are needed. If you have a complex research question or would like a more personalized experience, feel free to schedule a one-on-one appointment with an archivist by emailing archives@uwgb.edu.
Grab Your ID
You’ll need to complete a registration form and present a valid photo ID.
On-Site Usage
All materials must be used in our research room—they can't be checked out. Plan your visit so that you have sufficient time to work with the materials.
Copy & Scan
We provide copying and scanning equipment, with wireless options for your devices. You can save your work to a portable storage device if you have one. While scanning is free, copying and printing require a small fee, payable by cash or check.
Pre-Search
To make the most of your visit, check our website in advance to explore the materials we offer. This will help you understand what’s available and ensure we have what you need.

Where to Park
Enter campus at Main Entrance Drive, which is the second entrance off Nicolet Drive. The closest parking is in the Weidner lots behind the Weidner. Follow the Main Entrance Drive to North Circle Drive (first right turn) and follow until you see the Weidner Center Parking Lot (on the left).
Parking Fees
Visitors to UW-Green Bay can park for free for up to five visits per semester. If your research requires you to park on campus more than five times per semester, you will need to use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking. Stalls for parking with ParkMobile are clearly marked with signage. The app is free to download on a smartphone or iPad. If you don't have a smart device, you can call 877-727-5003 to obtain parking rights.

The UW-Green Bay Archives is located in room 705 of the David A. Cofrin Library, which is in the center of the UW-Green Bay Campus, directly across from the Weidner.
