Course Description

Practicing Effective Management provides managers with relevant guideline and meaningful tools for workplace success.  In this training, participants will understand the nuances of management vs. leadership, identify appropriate ways to support their staff through structured supervision, learn how to exercise effective time management, and effectively respond to the demands of a competitive work environment.

Through course materials and active teaching methods, participants are equipped with the information and tools needed to develop and maintain successful, strengths-based, professional relationships with their peers and staff while maintaining good boundaries between their job demands and personal life.  Key aspects of this training are relevant to all levels and types of management, including new managers, practice managers, executives, and experienced professionals.

About the Trainer

Myranda Green, LLMSW

Myranda holds a Bachelor’s degree in social work from Grand Valley State University and a Master’s degree in social work from Western Michigan University. She has extensive experience developing and managing crisis services systems, making her a vital member of TBD Solutions Clinical and Crisis Services team. Myranda also brings leadership skills and a passion for developing relationships to her consultant role.

She is a proven leader that achieves results through strategic planning and relationship building with extensive knowledge of crisis intervention and stabilization best practices that are grounded in ethics, integrity, collaboration, and enthusiasm. Known for designing and developing high-performing teams, she continuously seeks to raise the bar of excellence and hospitality in behavioral health service delivery. Heather volunteers time in several state and national trade associations to shape professional counseling and clinical services.
