Course Description

This online, self-paced supplemental course is for learners who recently completed our CCS Orientation course (v3) prior to February 2026. The newest version of the CCS Orientation course (v4), launched in early February 2026, includes the addition of two modules: 

  • Psychiatric (Psychosocial) Rehabilitation (58:04)
  • Engage or Enrage - Crisis De-Escalation (1:44:43)
This course will be available for registration, enrollment, and completion until December 31, 2026.  


This course engages learners through interactive video presentations, knowledge checks and quizzes. Individuals who successfully complete the course, including passing all module quizzes, will receive 3 hours of continuing education.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

•    Describe psychiatric rehabilitation and functional skill development
•    Apply crisis de-escalation techniques and supportive strategies

Upon registering for this course, participants will receive a confirmation email explaining that BHTP staff will review their training record to confirm successful prior completion of the CCS Orientation course. Upon that confirmation, BHTP staff will enroll the learner and send additional instructions via email.
