Gain professional experience now.
Let's face it, employers today want job candidates with a year or two of professional experience—in addition to their degree. That means, if you want to be marketable after you graduate, you'd better get some on-the-job experience now. You can do it with internships. Internships are a great way to give your career a trial run, create mentoring relationships and network. Many internships even lead to a full-time job after graduation.
Are you completing an internship, but not earning academic credit?
If so, we want to learn more about your valuable and exciting experience! Log into Handshake to record the details of the experience in the Experience tool. Collecting this information will allow our office to support you in your experience, engage with your supervisor at your internship site, and provide future students with information on which organizations have hosted our interns in the past.
