UW-Green Bay is actively investing in campus infrastructure to support academic excellence, student success, and community engagement. Construction projects are a visible outcome of long-term planning efforts, including the 2024 Campus Master Plan and the University's Six-Year Capital Development Plan. These projects reflect our commitment to creating a safe, sustainable, and future-ready learning environment.

Current Major Project

Cofrin Technology & Education Center (CTEC)
CTEC is the largest capital project currently underway and will serve as a cornerstone for campus transformation. It was identified as a top priority in both the 2024 Master Plan and the 2023–2029 Capital Plan.
- Status: Under construction (2023–2025)
- Location: Central campus, in front of the Cofrin Library
- Purpose: Replacing the aging Cofrin Library; a new hub for technology and education

Planning-Driven Projects
Additional projects are in various stages of planning and development. These initiatives are guided by the 2024 Campus Master Plan and the University's Six-Year Capital Plan, which outlines priorities for 2023–2029 and beyond. These may include:
- Residence Life renovations
- STEM Innovation Center expansion
- Utility infrastructure upgrades
- Campus entrance and way finding improvements
