Years In The Making
Though Radio GBX is new, we have a history of well-known radio stations.
WGBW (91.5 FM) was a progressive, over-the-air student station on the UW-Green Bay campus with a 30-mile broadcast radius and a cult following from 1974 to 1989. The station streamed live on the internet in the mid-2000s. We relaunched the streaming station in 2022, and the best is yet to broadcast!

"Radio GBX is a new and improved student-run radio station that gives students an opportunity to perform on-air before an audience. Whether this audience be students or individuals outside of the UW-Green Bay campus, this station shows the success of students working together to run their own radio station."
