1. Phoenix Awards

The Phoenix Award is the award granted to the student when they apply to UW-Green Bay. The award is based on student's previous academic record or the record of their standardized tests. There are two types of Phoenix Awards: Phoenix Gold and Phoenix Green award. Students are qualified for the Phoenix Award if they meet one of the following conditions: 

  • GPA: For both First-Year and Transfer students, a cummulative GPA of at least 3.51 on a 4.0 scale is needed for the Phoenix Gold Award. For the Phoenix Green Award, First-Year students need a cummulative GPA of 3.25-3.5 and Transfer students need a cummulative GPA of 3.0-3.5. Transfer students also need to meet the 15 transferrable credit requirement to qualify for the award. 
  • ACT: An ACT score of at least 26-36 is required for Phoenix Gold Award and 23-35 for Pheonix Green Award. 
    • *Only First-Year applicants are eligible to provide the ACT scores for the Phoenix Awards.
  • SAT: An SAT score of at least 1230-1600 is required for Phoenix Gold Award and 1130-1220 for Pheonix Green Award.
    • *Only First-Year applicants are eligible to provide the SAT scores for the Phoenix Awards.

2. General Scholarships 

Once a student gains admission to the university they can apply for UW-Green Bay scholarships.
