Create your own flashcards, online quizzes and games to use as study aids.
Brainfuse Access
Currently enrolled students can access Brainfuse by clicking on the "Sign in to Brainfuse" link above, or through Canvas. To access in Canvas:
- Log in to Canvas
- Select one of your current courses
- Click on the "Brainfuse Online Tutoring" link in the left navigation menu
- If prompted, login using your UWGB username and password
Brainfuse Services
Brainfuse offers you a variety of resources, from live on-demand tutoring and writing lab submissions to academic and collaborative tools to enhance your learning experience.
Writing Lab
Submit your writing for review and get feedback from a professional writing tutor within 24 hours. Select "Submit Paper," select the type of project you're submitting and pick up to three areas you'd like the tutor to focus their feedback on.
Live Tutoring
Select the general topic area (ex. Math) and the more specific Subject area (ex. Calculus) in which you would like assistance. After selecting your Topic and Subject, you can click on the Calendar Icon to see when tutors are available. You can also select Preferences to opt-in to tutoring with audio if you'd like to speak with your tutor. If you prefer to work with the tutor in Spanish, select the checkbox next to "tutoría en español."
Send a Question
If you have a question and do not want live help, you can submit a question for tutor response. Click on "Send a Question" under the Live Help area, then select your Subject and Topic. Type your question in the text area and optionally attach a document or image.
SkillSurfer
The SkillSurfer video is a library of lessons, videos, test prep materials and more.
LEAP Learning Platform
A set of skills assessments you can take to create individualized learning plans with topics focused on college math, reading and writing. Connect with a live tutor for extra assistance with your learning plan.
FlashBulb Flashcards
Create and share flashcards, tests and games using your class notes and materials.
MEET Study Groups
Form online study groups and schedule live sessions with friends, classmates, TAs or instructors in the private virtual study room. Online study groups in MEET have access to the collaborative whiteboard and are audio-compatible.
English Language Learner Support
Students seeking to develop their English language skills can access Live Help with language acquisition by going to the Language Lab and selecting the "ESL" subject. The SkillSurfer also includes a variety of ELL skill resources including videos and lessons on reading, writing and common grammar issues.
