For Students.

Where student voices become action.

Think of the Student Government Association (SGA) as your voice in campus leadership. We’re here to uphold the rights and responsibilities of every student. Through active participation in university governance, we work to create an environment that supports intellectual growth, personal development and meaningful student involvement.

Three Branches

Similar to the United States government, SGA has legislative, executive and judicial branches.

Executive Board

The Executive Board acts as the representative of the student body to UW-Green Bay administration. Members lead and oversee the goals of SGA.

Leading Operations

Senate

As the legislative branch of SGA, the Senate listens to the needs and concerns of all students and enacts legislation based on those needs.

Advocating for Students

Student Court

If any disputes arise, the Student Court is tasked with resolution that upholds our constitution and bylaws. The main goal of the court is to remain impartial and fair.

Focusing on All Aspects of UWGB

SGA has committees that shape your college experience.

Each of our committees focuses on a unique part of your college journey—from academics and student life to sustainability and equity. The committees collaborate with university departments and local organizations to expand opportunities, address student needs and make real change happen. Whether you're passionate about policy, programming or advocacy, there's a place for your voice and your vision.

Our Committees

Supporting Student Activities

As a student at UW-Green Bay, you pay for segregated fees beyond tuition, which help fund student organizations, health services, gym access and more. Through the Segregated University Fee Allocation Committee (SUFAC), the SGA allocates these fees to student organizations. We're also representing student voices by advising the Chancellor on decisions concerning money.
