Why I joined SGA: I joined SGA to enhance the experience of each student that puts their faith in this campus, but more importantly, the experience of minorities, low-income, and international students. The student body needs a voice. The goal is to be that voice but amplified, so that the administration cannot help but listen.
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: My goal is to provide SGA executives with a structure and platform that maximizes their productivity. Working with the housing department, I would like to increase flexibility of the housing contract. I am also eager to improve dining hall food and transfer meal options. I am always open to hearing student feedback; it helps me narrow down my goals further to meet student needs. Please reach out if you are facing any issues on campus.

Why I joined SGA: A few of my friends who were already in SGA asked me to join last year. When I did, I felt like this organization was a different ball game than anything else I ever did, and I was intimidated, believing that I wouldn't fit in. However, the purpose of SGA and my own goals are very similar: to make a positive impact on the campus. With that, I found a home in something I never thought I would and found a new perspective in trying to bring change onto this university, making lots of friends in the process!
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: I want to keep communication between all branches as transparent and accurate as possible, provide help to any of the executives in any way I can, and create lasting memories with all the members!

Why I joined SGA: I have been contemplating joining SGA since my 3^rd month on campus, when I found out that they were responsible for getting free bus tickets to students. That set SGA aside from my usual experience with student self-governance, as this one had actual power to make change and I had ambitious plans to introduce to UWGB. 
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: Tackle all of the student - professor issues and Introduce a system that would convert extra credit projects into metric that employers could base their hiring judgment on.

Why I joined SGA: I joined SGA because I wanted to be a part of something meaningful on campus. I wanted to feel included in an organization and get involved as a new freshman. I joined due to it being introduced to me at orgsmorg by our former vice president, Radwa Fargali. 
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: I want to accomplish the goal of growing our social media to at least 1,000 followers by the time I graduate. I also want to make entertaining and informational content for our page.

Why I joined SGA: I joined SGA to get more involved on campus and have a voice in the decisions being made throughout campus. Additionally, I wanted to be a voice for those who can't or won't speak about the things that they need or want. 
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: Throughout this year I want to focus on bringing more visibility and representation to students in the arts by having them in the conversations we have for their input. Additionally, I want to get more in general involved in Arts and Performance as the Arts is a vehicle of connection between communities.

Why I joined SGA: I joined SGA to get involved on campus and encourage other students to do the same. I think it's important to be engaged in your community and I want to help create opportunities for that to happen.
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: My goals for the Environmental Affairs committee are to create opportunities for people's environmental interests to be shared. I want to be able to help people become informed on local issues that impact our campus as well as Green Bay as a whole.

Why I joined SGA: Through my involvement in student organizations, I have seen the impact students can make when they work together. I joined SGA to bring that experience into student government, advocate for student voices, and help build a campus community where everyone feels represented and has the opportunity to make a difference.
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: As the Equity and Diversity Chair, I hope to promote inclusivity, strengthen the connection between students and SGA, and ensure that students from all backgrounds feel heard and represented. I also look forward to collaborating with student organizations to organize events that celebrate diversity, bring students together, and create a stronger sense of belonging on campus.

Why I joined SGA: I joined RHAA because I care about creating a welcoming, inclusive, and connected residential community where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas, concerns, and experiences. I believe that students should have opportunities to be heard and to play an active role in shaping their residential experience. As an international student, I also understand how meaningful it can be to find a sense of belonging in a new environment, and I hope to help create that sense of connection for others.
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: As Outreach Director, I hope to strengthen communication between RHAA and residents, increase awareness of RHAA events and opportunities, and help connect students with campus resources and each other. I would also like to encourage more residents to share their ideas and get involved in making the residential community more engaging, inclusive, and enjoyable for everyone.

Why I joined SGA: The reason I joined SGA is because I wanted to become more involved on campus. Even though I'm a student athlete, I think it's important to have an impact on campus beyond my sport. 
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: My main goal this year is to get more students involved on campus and help create events and opportunities that students actually want to be a part of. I also want to help strengthen the connection between SGA, athletics, and the rest of the student body while making sure students feel like their voices are being heard. Why I joined SGA: I joined SGA to advocate for the issues that matter most to students and to have a direct hand in shaping the campus experience for the better. Coming from Nepal, UWGB has given me opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise academically, professionally, and personally and I wanted a way to give back to the community that made that possible. Serving in SGA lets me work on real problems students face, from dining and housing to broader student life, and be a voice for those who might not otherwise be heard.
Goals/What I am hoping to accomplish this year: To advocate for student dining rights and ensure that basic food needs are met for all types of students including those with dietary restrictions, allergies, and cultural or religious needs. I want to work toward more inclusive and diverse food options on campus so that every student, regardless of background, feels represented in what's offered. I also hope to improve communication between students and Dining Services so concerns are addressed quickly and transparently throughout the year.
