Jenny Ronsman, MFA, teaches First Year Writing, Research and Rhetoric, and First Year Seminar: Finding Home for UWGB’s Writing Foundations program. Her creative nonfiction and poetry have appeared in many literary quarterlies, often exploring themes of motherhood, womanhood, home and family. Jenny has a B.A. in Creative Writing from Beloit College, where she spent one semester at the University of Galway in Ireland and an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Some of her favorite things are The Bleachers, dog cuddles, crossword puzzles, roasted veggies, Sam Cooke, spending time outdoors with family and friends, traveling and getting lost in six or seven books at one time. She has taught at UWGB since 2007, and is a native of Green Bay.
