Welcome to the Family!


Congratulations on your admission! We are excited to have you as a student on our campus!  The checklist items below form a good "to do" list as you prepare to start classes at UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus. Your advisor is here to help every step of the way. Please don't hesitate to contact us with questions.

NOTE: Due to cancellations of regional testing dates, the Wisconsin Math Placement Exam will not be required for students beginning in Fall 2020. More details will be shared as information becomes available. 

Checklist Items for Manitowoc Campus Students
Set up your network account, using the information found in your admission letter. After setting up your account, check your UW-Green Bay email weekly.
Arrange for your final official transcript (high school or college, if applicable) to be sent to:

 Apply for financial aid with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at  The UW-Green Bay college code is the same for all campuses: 003899. The FAFSA application is available beginning October 1.
 Accept or decline financial aid. Financial aid awarding will begin in early 2019. Students must complete the FAFSA to be considered for financial aid. After awarding begins, students are awarded about two weeks after filing the FAFSA.
 Apply for scholarships through the university! Students at any UW-Green Bay campus may apply for the university scholarships The priority application date is February 15.
 Register for your GB Orientation Session. Specific information about these programs will be sent to you.
  • Fall semester sessions – May through August. Register now.
  • Spring semester sessions – November through January
 Attend new student orientation. Start off on the right foot with a great orientation. Attendance is required for all new student. Specific information about orientation will be sent to you.
  • Fall semester – Late August
  • Spring semester – January
 Classes begin
  • As classes begin, do not forget to pay your outstanding charges to the university, obtain your student ID, and begin getting involved in clubs and campus activities.
