You're well on your way to becoming a UW-Green Bay student. In the coming weeks and months, there are a number of next steps you will take toward your enrollment, and we will be here every step of the way.
1Check Wings Portal
The Wings Portal is your access point to complete all necessary tasks for a smooth transition to UW-Green Bay. Visit the Wings Portal to complete your important next steps and to-do items—like register for orientation, apply for financial aid, schedule placement tests and more.

To use the Wings Portal, you must first set up your UW-Green Bay account.

2Affordability Plan
Planning your finances ensures you can afford your education and take advantage of available financial aid and scholarships.
Apply for Financial Aid
First, fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For information on the financial aid process, see how to apply for aid.
Apply for Scholarships
Then, one easy application allows you to apply for multiple UW-Green Bay scholarships. The priority application date is February 15, with a deadline of June 30. For details, see the scholarship timeline.
3Housing Contract
Securing housing early guarantees you have a comfortable place to live. If you plan to live on campus, fill out your housing contract online via the Housing Hub. Students planning to live off-campus can indicate their plans in the Wings Portal.
4Register: GBO & Testing
Get signed up for GB Orientation and placement testing. More information can be found in the Wings Portal.
GB Orientation
GB Orientation (GBO) is when you will register for courses and learn more about being a student at UW-Green Bay. More information can be found in the Wings Portal.
Placement Testing
Make sure you complete your placement testing at least 10 days prior to your GBO date, so scores are back in time for you to receive results in your advising session.

Q: Where do I find my 'to-do' list for enrollment?
Your admitted student checklist was included in your admission packet, but the best way to track your next steps is through your Wings Portal. This online tool keeps you updated on everything you need to do before starting classes. Before you can access the Wings Portal, you will need to set your password.
Q: How do I register for classes?
Check your Wings Portal for details on your registration process.
First-Year Students
If you're starting in the fall, you’ll register during GB Orientation in spring or summer. If you're starting in the spring, you’ll receive a registration notification in November.
Transfer Students
If you're a transfer student, you’ll receive a notification when it’s time to register. Registration begins in November for spring classes and April for fall classes. When it’s time, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor by calling 920-465-2111.
Q: Can I change my high school schedule?
If you’ve made changes to your senior year schedule after being admitted, you must submit your updated schedule for review to ensure you're meeting admission requirements. Complete the schedule change form and email it to uwgb@uwgb.edu for approval.
Q: Can I visit campus?
Absolutely! A campus tour is the best way to see if UW-Green Bay is the right fit for you. Schedule your visit through your Wings Portal and explore campus in person.
Q: What if I’ve decided to attend a different college?
