Crisis Intervention Services Orientation (Self-Paced Course)
Course Description
This asynchronous (self-paced) course is designed to assist with onboarding new Wisconsin DHS 34 Crisis Intervention Services workers. This course is part of the Crisis Core training series, and lays the foundation for the skills and knowledge learned in synchronous (live) trainings.
Upon registering for this course, participants will receive a confirmation email which will contain a self-enrollment link to access the course in Canvas, University of Wisconsin's online learning platform. After enrolling in the course in Canvas, participants will progress through each module in full, and must pass a quiz in order to proceed to the next module. Upon completion of the course, a certificate for 17.5 continuing education hours will be provided.
