About the Trainer

Jamie Pekarek Krohn, LPC

I am a psychotherapist in Madison, WI. I have been practicing for over 25 years, first in Chicago and then in Madison. I have worked in both PHP/IOP as well as private and group practices. I did my master's program at DePaul University and have done certifications in adult psychoanalytic psychodynamics, yoga, and somatic parts.
I specialize in life transitions, grief, relational issues, anxiety, depression, ADHD and eating disorders. Focusing on menopause and women in midlife has increasingly been a focus for me. I recently ran a menopause group and have started to co-create a local resource for women in midlife.
In 2018 I took a step away from my private practice to build a nonprofit called Be Well Madison, which focused on increasing access to wellness services for our marginalized community members.
