COMMUNICATION DEGREE ONLINE
Earning your degree online allows you to study while working full time.
Online, on your time. At UW-Green Bay, we pride ourselves on the ability to change and adapt to meet the needs of our students. That’s why we’re offering our Communication major fully online with three different emphasis options – Generalist, Health Communication and Public Relations. The Communication minor is also fully online.
What to Expect Online
Our online communication courses aren't just about reading the material and taking the test. At UW-Green Bay, we create an engaging, dynamic learning environment with classes taught by professors, not TAs.
What You'll Learn Online
Our online program is not separate from the in-person experience. You'll have the same professors as our in-person program so you have access to the same opportunities.
How Online Classes Work
Wondering what online class will be like? Coursework typically includes the following:
- video lectures
- discussion forums
- quizzes & exams
We might not be in the same room – or even the same state – but we are on your side.
Professors are experts in their areas. But, they’re not just passionate about the field, either – they’re passionate about students too. They can help connect you with projects, internships and student clubs – even online, these opportunities are still possible! If and when you need support, professors are here for you with:
- Online office hours
- Direct email
- Individual appointments
Earn Your Communication Degree Online
Online education offers the convenience and flexibility most working adults need, without sacrificing any of the learning. Not every student can be on campus, and we understand that. You have a busy life, and our online education programs offer the flexibility you need to continue working toward your degree. If you are new to online learning, let our advisors show you how it works. Request an appointment with an admissions counselor to learn about your options as an online student.
