Bailey Tlachac a member of the Oneida Nation in Wisconsin and a proud alumna of UW – Green Bay graduating with a bachelor's in First Nations Studies with minors in Psychology and Democracy and Justice Studies. She later attended Syracuse University to obtain a masters in Higher Postsecondary Education. Prior to joining the Center for First Nations Education, she worked with Indigenous students at Syracuse University serving as the Program Coordinator for the Native Student Program.

She is also a current doctoral student in the First Nations Education program at UW – Green Bay. Her scholarly interests lie in Indigenous student/staff/faculty support at higher education institutions, tribalCRT and cultural capital wealth. In her free time, she enjoys trying new hobbies, going to concerts and learning languages.
