TRIO Student Support Services

Hey y'all! I'm excited to serve as the Assistant Director of TRIO Student Support Services, a federal program that works to remove educational barriers for students who qualify as first-gen, income eligible or have documented disabilities. I've had the honor of working at UW-Green Bay since February 2024, where I began as a TRIO Upward Bound Student Advisor and Program Coordinator. Since then, I've transitioned into this roleworking directly with college students to ensure their success while at UWGB. As someone who comes from a low-income and first-gen background, I am passionate about supporting students who hold similar identities as they navigate the unknowns of the college world. College is a time when so many find themselves and what they really want from life and I feel lucky to be even a small part of those journeys.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Education - Special Education and Master of Science in Education - Higher Education and Leadership from UW-Whitewater. I've served in a variety of roles as both a student and professional and have been working full-time in higher education since 2021. I enjoy reading, gardening, crafting, spending time with loved ones and live music in my free time.
