Forrest Brooks is a faculty member in First Nations Studies, Humanistic Studies, and the First Nations Education doctoral program. He is an enrolled member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, with ancestral lines in both the Stockbridge Munsee Nation of Wisconsin and the Menominee Nation. Forrest is a life-long learner of Haudenosaunee original ways of thinking, being, and doing.

- B.A. in Anthropology at SUNY- Cortland
- M.S. in Curriculum and Instruction at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
- Ed.D Student -- Teaching & Learning: Focus in Global Indigenous Language, Culture, & Education, University of Minnesota Duluth
