As a proud 2009 UW-Green Bay alum, my college experience shaped the course of my life in ways I never could have imagined. As a first-generation student from a low-income family, I know firsthand how important it is to feel connected, supported and like you truly belong. Those experiences continue to ground my work and fuel my passion for helping students navigate college in ways that honor their unique stories, strengths and goals. Throughout my career in higher education, I’ve served in a variety of roles, but each one has centered around supporting students and helping them find confidence, community and success along the way.
Today, I’m proud to support UWGB’s access mission and oversee our growing Student Success Programs department. Our coaching team strives to be the kind of people we needed when we were in college by being people who help others feel seen, supported and valued. Building community and creating spaces of belonging are at the heart of what we do because we know students are more likely to thrive when they feel connected to the people around them. This work is deeply meaningful to me, and it serves as a reminder that we all have a role in building the kind of inclusive, supportive communities we want to be part of. I’m so glad you are part of the UWGB community!
