Hi everyone! I’ve been a Student Success Coach at UW-Green Bay since October 2025. Prior to joining UWGB, I worked as a Retention Specialist with the Office of Multicultural Student Services at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In that role, I supported first-generation and low-income students by helping break down barriers to their academic and social success. I also advised and coordinated programming for a Living Learning Community called “AERIE.”
As a first-generation Hmong American, I am passionate about helping students navigate their college journey and demystify the higher education experience. In Hmong culture, history and knowledge are often passed down through storytelling, which I believe is a powerful way to foster human connection, understanding, and belonging. I incorporate the importance of storytelling and active listening into my coaching philosophy, with the hope of empowering students to take charge of their own success.
