Dr. Ohireime O. Ojeomogha is a lecturer in Personal Financial Planning at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®). He earned his Ph.D. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University in 2025 and his M.S. in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech in 2022. He also holds a Certificate in Finance from UCLA, an M.A. in Human Resources and Organizational Development from Azusa Pacific University, and a B.A. in Organizational Communication from California State University, Sacramento.

Dr. Ojeomogha’s teaching experience includes estate planning, retirement planning, behavioral finance, risk management, client communication and counseling, and the fundamentals of financial planning. Before joining UW-Green Bay, he served as a guest lecturer and teaching assistant in Texas Tech University’s School of Financial Planning. He also worked as a financial coach and educator with Texas Tech’s Red to Black program, where he helped students strengthen their budgeting, debt-management, and financial decision-making skills.

His research focuses on financial literacy, financial resilience, retirement preparedness, household and behavioral finance, financial well-being, and financial outcomes among underserved and underrepresented populations. His research has been presented at conferences and research events hosted by the American Council on Consumer Interests and Texas Tech University. His current projects examine emergency-expense preparedness among Black households, racial and age differences in retirement readiness, social media and household overspending, and the potential role of financial technology in helping debt-burdened families build emergency savings.
