Stephen Troveh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST, Ghana), a Master of Business Administration from Henderson State University (Arkansas), and a Ph.D. in Economics from Southern Illinois University–Carbondale. He is currently an Assistant Teaching Professor of Economics at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay’s Austin E. Cofrin School of Business, where he teaches a range of courses in economics. His prior teaching experience includes courses in engineering economics,  Investment management, data analytics and health economics.

 

Stephen’s research interests span financial economics, financial crises and fiscal policy responses, and monetary economics. His current work examines how financial innovations such as mobile money shape household decision-making, financial inclusion, and monetary policy in developing economies. In addition, he is researching how the rise of speculative assets like cryptocurrencies influences the risk management behavior of homeowners in advanced economies.
