Ujunwa Mgboh

Ujunwa Mgboh is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Wayne State University, where her doctoral research focused on transformer-based deep learning for automated radiotherapy treatment planning.

Her research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, medical image analysis, computer vision, self-supervised learning, and trustworthy AI. Her work focuses particularly on developing accurate and robust AI methods for fluence map prediction and improving the efficiency of radiotherapy planning. Her research has been presented and published at leading venues including Medical Imaging with Deep Learning (MIDL), Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (AIME), and the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM).

In addition to her research, Dr. Mgboh is passionate about teaching and mentoring students in artificial intelligence, data science, and computer systems, while preparing them to apply computing and AI to real-world problems.
