Empowering Communities
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) is observed every June 15th as a global call to action to recognize, prevent, and address the mistreatment of older adults in our communities. To support this vital mission, the National Center on Elder Abuse (NCEA) provides an extensive collection of free resources and toolkits designed to help individuals and organizations raise awareness through social media guides, educational flyers, and community outreach materials. These materials help build a stronger social structure that supports the dignity and safety of all older adults.
