The purpose of this training is to enhance the safety and well-being of older survivors of abuse by strengthening knowledge, responses, referrals, and community collaboration.

This webinar series equips prosecutors with practical skills and confidence to effectively investigate and prosecute elder abuse cases while supporting the safety and dignity of older victims. You'll learn now to:

She provides support and education to help people with dementia stay in the least restrictive environments possible. Dinah LaCaze holds a master’s degree in Social Work.

Donna Sulstrom-Rosner
Residential Care Specialist, Adult Protective Services (APS)Donna Sulstrom-Rosner brings a wealth of expertise in the prevention and intervention of adult maltreatment. She has worked over 30 years as a lead county adult protective services social worker responding to reports of abuse and neglect.

Safeguarding Seniors: A Guide for Financial Institutions
Free Online Training • 3 Hours
This self-paced training is designed to equip financial institutions with essential knowledge and skills to recognize and report financial abuse in later life. Participants will learn to describe various forms of financial abuse, identify risk factors and potential signs, and understand the appropriate channels for reporting suspected cases.
Initially geared for financial planners, the training developers, the Department of Financial Institutions (DFI), granted permission to adapt the training for financial institutions. DFI is a state-level agency that regulates and oversees financial services to protect consumers and ensure fair practices. They can play a role in addressing and preventing financial abuse by providing resources, education and enforcement actions.
This training is for staff at financial institutions throughout Wisconsin. Financial planners should take the original training. To learn more, please consult the Administrators Association (NASAA) website.
