  • Completed GradCas Application
  • Current Resume
  • Statement of Interest (200–300 words) describing qualifications, scientific interests, relevant experience and (if applicable) potential faculty mentors.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals preferably one from a faculty advisor and one from an employer or supervisor, but both may be from a faculty advisor. Enter your recommenders' name and email, set a deadline, and include a personal note. Let them know they will receive a link to the Liaison Evaluator Portal to create an account and complete a form on your behalf. They also have the option to upload a personal letter.
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (requested through GradCAS or sent directly).

Step3:Select Your Degree Track

Indicate your preferred degree track in your application: Thesis, Practicum or Capstone. If no track is selected, you will be admitted to the Capstone Track by default. You can change tracks later with advisor approval.

  • Thesis Track: You’re encouraged to connect with potential faculty advisors before applying, but it is not required.
  • Practicum Track: Contact the program chair before applying to discuss opportunities and expectations.
  • Capstone Track: No additional steps required at application.

Step4:Submit & Pay Your Application Fee

Once all required materials are submitted, you’ll complete your application by paying the application fee through GradCAS.

  • Applications are reviewed only after all materials are received.
