Most Phoenix Family Weekend events are free but require tickets so we can track attendance and ensure there is enough food, supplies and space for everyone. Secure your tickets now before they're gone!

Friday, October 2

Visit local Green Bay businesses with exclusive Phoenix Family Weekend discounts. Then, return to campus in the afternoon for interactive activities including crafts and an outdoor movie in the Park.

Spend quality time with each other! Capture the day with awkward family photos, play giant yard games, cheer on the Phoenix and end the day with a high-energy live show from NEW Dueling Pianos. Start thinking of song requests now!

Ever heard of #UWGBTrees? Our campus is known for its natural beauty, especially in the fall. Enjoy the beautiful scenery by participating in the Phlash Dash 5K run/walk, guided arboretum trail walks or hay wagon rides.

Midwest Viking Festival

October 2-3 | Viking House

The Midwest Viking Festival is an annual event that celebrates Scandinavian history. Participate in crafts, sample food, and hear stories from medieval Scandinavia (Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Sweden).

The Viking House is located on the UW-Green Bay campus north of the Wood Hall parking lot.

Phlash Dash 5K

Registration: 8 a.m. | Start: 9 a.m.

The Phlash Dash 5K is a fun, interactive 5K run/walk that benefits the UW-Green Bay Alumni Scholarship Fund. This is a non-competitive, non-chip timed event that is open to all families and community members.

  • Early Bird Pricing (through Sept. 25): $15 for children & UW-Green Bay students, $25 for adults (18+)
  • Regular Pricing (Sept. 26-Oct. 4): $20 for children & UW-Green Bay students, $30 for adults (18+)

Parking Information

Guests visiting the Green Bay campus may park on campus up to five times at no cost. If you plan to stay overnight, make sure to obtain an overnight permit for the Studio Arts Lot.
