Peer Mentoring

Support for the
First-Year Journey

Building connection, guidance and support throughout the first year

Peer mentors help students build confidence, connection, and momentum during their first semester. Through outreach, group engagement, and a semester-long success series, they offer guidance, encouragement, and support as students navigate campus life at UW-Green Bay.

Two students sit at a table in front of a window with textbooks and water bottles between them.

Phoenix Lift-Off

First-Semester Success Series

Starting college involves more than just attending classes—it also means learning how to navigate campus systems, ask for help, build connections, and develop habits that support success. Phoenix Lift-Off is a Peer Mentor-led success series that will provide first-year and new-to-UWGB students with practical, timely support across the fall semester. Additional information about session topics, dates, and ways to participate will be shared as the series is finalized.

The full Phoenix Lift-Off schedule will be available here prior to the start of the semester.
