Steel Magnolias

Thursday, October 9
Peninsula Players Theatre

4351 Peninsula Players Road, Fish Creek

Cost: $119

Join us for a show that is “a hilarious celebration of friendship, heartache and hairdos!” Steel Magnolias—“This beloved and moving comedy chronicles the lives and friendships of six marvelously different women who support each other through triumphs and tragedies. They congregate every Saturday at Truvy’s beauty shop to ponder the mysteries of life and death, husbands and children—and hair and nails! Through their witty banter and plenty of ribbing, the women form bonds as strong as steel and friendships that feel like family.”

Travelers will meet at the UW-Green Bay campus and be transported via coach bus to dinner at the Nightingale Supper Club. You can choose from four meal choices: 8 oz. prime rib, smothered chicken breast, garlic butter sauteed shrimp or deep-fried perch. We will also enjoy dessert after supper. After dinner, we will travel to Peninsula Players to enjoy Steel Magnolias.

Cost is $119 and includes your bus ride, dinner with gratuity, dessert and ticket to the show. All are welcome to travel with us—you do not need to be a Lifelong Learning member to attend!

Leaving from Green Bay: Exact times will be sent to travelers after they register, but we will meet in the afternoon on the UW-Green Bay campus and return to campus in the evening.

Register by Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
