That's why, at the forefront of our approach, we've assembled a team of experienced professionals who understand that quality matters more than ever in a world flooded with smartphone snapshots.
Photo/Video Request Guidelines
The University Videographer/Photographer provides photo and video services in support of institutional marketing and communication, bringing a creative perspective to video and image capture of campus news, landscapes, programs and activities on location and in the studio. Photographer and videographer services are subject to availability.
Priorities
Requests are prioritized based on the availability of the University Videographer/Photographer and in agreement with Marketing and University Communications coverage objectives.
Priorities include:
- major campus-wide events, programs and activities
- marketing and promotional photos
- campus news photos
- notable campus supporters: alumni, donors
Services may be provided for:
- department events, programs and activities
- student life activities
- faculty and staff portraits
Staff & Faculty Portraits
Headshot sessions are available the first and third Wednesday of each month on the third floor of the Union. The first Wednesday session begins at 3 p.m., and the third Wednesday session begins at 9 a.m. Unable to make those sessions? Photos can be taken Mondays and Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Additional Resources
At times, student photography interns may be available for events and to assist the University Photographer. Additionally, freelance photographers may be arranged at the requesting department’s expense for events where the University Videographer/Photographer is unavailable.
