How to Apply for Fall 2026
Each student’s prior academic background is evaluated by the UW-Green Bay Academic Director. Follow the steps below to complete your application.
Step1: Submit the Online Application
Complete the UW-Green Bay graduate application through the Universities of Wisconsin system and pay the $56 non‑refundable application fee.
Step2: Send Official Transcripts
Submit your official transcripts from all colleges or universities where you attempted 9 or more credits. You don't need to submit UW-Green Bay transcripts (if you attended UW-Green Bay) or Study abroad transcripts for one semester or less.

Step3:Submit Your Resume
Provide a current resume that highlights your professional experience, education and skills relevant to management and leadership. Your resume can be uploaded as part of your application or emailed to gradstu@uwgb.edu.
Step4:Provide Recommendations
You will need two letters of evaluation as part of your application. These letters must be submitted by your evaluators, whether they are professional or academic, not by you. Your evaluators should send completed evaluations should be sent by one of the following methods:

Step5:Write a Personal Statement
Submit a personal statement of no more than 1,000 words describing your decision to pursue this degree and what you believe you will bring to the conservation field. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the program, please include a description of extenuating circumstances to explain why your application does not accurately reflect who you are as a student and your ability to succeed in a graduate program.
International Students
This program is 100% online. International students are welcome to apply and enroll. However, you are unable to apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa based on enrollment in this program. In addition to the application materials, you will need to provide further documentation.
