Each certificate consists of three, three-credit courses. You can move through the certificates at your own pace. On average, students can complete a certificate in as little as 9 months.

Like our graduate program, the certificate is a flat fee of $750 per credit.

What's a sturdy building without a strong foundation? This certificate gives you a broad overview of the principles and practices of conservation, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to make meaningful contributions to the field.
Biodiversity and Conservation Science
Pursue conservation in practice with our certificate in Biodiversity and Conservation Science. You'll build skills in watershed management, systematics and evolution, curation of museum or herbarium specimens and emerging technologies and management strategies.
